Application by Nathan Boothman to vary Aquaculture Licence No. 1657 – Invitation for Public Comment
In accordance with the Fish Resources Management Act 1994 and pursuant to Administrative Guideline No. 1 Item 3.4.7, public comment is invited within 28 days of the date of this invitation on an application to:
- vary Nathan Boothman’s existing aquaculture licence to include species and two new sites in the Abrolhos Islands; and
- grant an aquaculture lease.

In accordance with Section 22 of the Pearling Act 1990, the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (department) received an application on 20 November 2025 from Willie Creek Pearling Pty Ltd for the grant of a Pearl Oyster Farm Lease at Prices Point in the Kimberley.
Pursuant to Administration Guideline 1 Assessment of Applications for Authorisations for Aquaculture and Pearling in Coastal Waters of Western Australia, Item 3.4.7, the department is inviting public comment on the application.
