Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants

The RED Grants program is a Western Australian Government initiative that invests in locally driven projects that support efforts to create long-term economic growth and job sustainability in our regions.

The WA Government is investing $55.85 million over ten years towards the RED Grants program for projects that will directly benefit regional communities.

Eligible applicants can apply for funding for individual projects that contribute to increasing or sustaining jobs, expanding or diversifying industry, developing skills or capability, increasing business productivity and attracting new investment to the regions.

Each of the 9 Regional Development Commissions (RDCs) manage the grant round process for their region and will provide advice to applicants during the application process.

This grant is currently closed to applications.

Closing date: Wednesday 26 June 2024
