Plant research trials map 2024-25

In 2024, the department is conducting more than 250 research trials across the state for grains, irrigated cropping, horticulture, feedbase, and new industries.

Our grains research covers many aspects of grains production from soil science and crop nutrition, crop protection, crop science to genetic improvement and farming systems innovation. 

The success of our research trials is made possible through numerous partnerships, including research and development corporations, such as GRDC, universities, CSIRO, state departments, grower groups, consultants, industry associations, and commercial organisations.
