If you are unsure of which application you need to complete or what kind of registration you are eligible for, please contact the Brands Registration Office via phone or email for assistance. Please do not proceed with an application if you are unsure.
No, not straight away. Once you have completed and successfully paid for your application, the Brands Registration Office still needs to process your application and generate your PIC/BIC code.
Once you have submitted and successfully paid for your application in the portal you will be emailed a copy of the payment receipt. Your application is then submitted to the Brands Registration Office for processing.
When your application has been processed and completed, you will receive an email from brandsportal-noreply@dpird.wa.gov.au confirming that you are registered and with a copy of your certificate of registration. You will then be posted your hard copy certificate and PIC/BIC/Hive card.
Once you have logged into the portal with your myID app, you first need to link your existing registration to your portal account. From there you will be able to complete a re-registration application.
Information on how to do this, and which documents you need, can be found in the Re-registration and Change of Details Help Guide.
